Hello! I designed this pattern mainly for the coat. It can be adapted to be as casual or as formal as you like, depending on the fabrics and buttons you choose. The shawl collar might be a bit more complex than you are used to, but with a little practice it will become easy to sew. The pants are a lot of fun to sew! While sewing the first pair, I could see myself cutting dozens of them in different textures - fake leather, velvet, tapestry etc. - but alas, I am always so short on time... There are so many high quality faux furs and "furry fleece" fabrics available, so I recommend that you add a bit of glamour to the ensemble by adding a "furry" stole to the ensemble.
